Camellias

Peppermint Tea

I have been working on still life compositions lately and had an idea to use some of my wife’s old china in an arrangement. I decided to add some flowers to the composition and make it feel like something from the past. We have a nice camellia bush in our yard that has three different colors of blooms on it. They can be white with red stripes, dark pink, or dark red. I decided to add a bowl of them into the arrangement with the china.

The two images below were my final choices out of the images I took. I darkened the background on the first one and printed it out and it turned out very nice.
