Poole's Mill Covered Bridge

Trip To Poole’s Mill Covered Bridge

A small group of people from my photo club ventured out in the dreary weather today to Poole’s Mill Covered Bridge in Ball Ground, GA.  It was my first time there and except for the weather it was very enjoyable.  I took a few shots of the bridge and a couple of the stream for possible inclusion in the upcoming Monthly Challenge which is “Streams”. Here are a few of the shots that I got.

We then finished out the morning at Gibbs Gardens.  The leaves are just past their peak for Fall color.  There was a front moving in so it kept getting cloudier and darker as the day went by. It finally started raining as we were making our way to the parking lot. Here are a couple of the shots I took before rain started.

I saw the shot above and thought it would make a nice panorama style shot. What do you think?

We had a nice time in spite of the weather and managed to enjoy most of the day.

Until next time —
